Eastleigh Bridge Club
Eastleigh Bridge Club exists for the enjoyment of competitive bridge in a convivial atmosphere. We meet in the hall behind Holy Cross Church, Leigh Rd in the centre of Eastleigh The hall has a large private car park and excellent facilities for the disabled
The club has 65 members at present and the weekly duplicate on Friday attracts an average of 8 tables. Please arrive in good time for play to start promptly at 7pm. Play usually finishes around 10pm. Most of our players use the standard ACOL system and we allow conventions up to level 3 of the EBU scheme.
Visitors can normally be accommodated but new ones should make prior arrangement. Players may use the kitchen to make their own refreshments at half-time.
Detailed scores are usually posted here on this
website before 11pm on the same day, (when Mike is not away).
These show the Ranked Result and the Matrix of the points awarded on each board.
The travelling Score Sheets follow and we may also include the hand records on these pages.
You can also see the personal score cards which include the names of the opponents.
A club Ladder is maintained which ranks members by the average of the results over the
past six months. The last event of each month is used to produce an adjusted result
based on the current handicap.
